Bruno Oliveira d86c89e193 Revert refactor of old-style to new-style classes 
As discussed in the mailing list, unfortunately this might break APIs
due to the subtle differences between new and old-style classes (see #2398).

This reverts commit d4afa1554b from PR #2179.

Andy Freeland b1c9b8b415 Make tmpdir resiliant to user ids that do not exist 
Previously, the tmpdir fixture would fail if the current process's user
id does not correspond to a valid user (e.g. running pytest in a Docker
container with 'docker run -u').

Bruno Oliveira 4302972c23 Use pytest-of-$user as base directory for tmpdir_factory 
Before tmpdir_factory, pytest used to create a link named "pytest-$user" to the current numbered directory. Use
 a different name so there's no conflict when running different pytest versions.

Fix #894

holger krekel 6eec2f5893 make tmpdir fixture always return a realpath()ed tmpdir and make a note 
about it in the changed test.  Currently, i don't see a reason why this

holger krekel c7ee6e71ab re-introduce the old 2.2.4 FuncargRequest implementation as it is a better 
base for implementing the new funcarg/setup api. Also Un-optimize
funcargnames discovery for now.

holger krekel 91b6f2bda8 mid-scale refactoring to make request API available directly on items. 
This commit was slightly tricky because i want to backward
compatibility especially for the oejskit plugin which
uses Funcarg-filling for non-Function objects.

- pytest.py is new module, making "python -m pytest" work always
- _pytest/*.py now contains core.py, hookspec and the plugins, no sub packages
