fedc78522b Build a stack of all previous packages instead of just the one closest to the initial argument(s).

aa95a425d7 Attempt to solve race-condition which corrupts .pyc files on Windows 
This uses of the `atomicwrites` library.

This is very hard to create a reliable test for.
